Title 1C Education HOME
Title 1C Migrant Education Program is a federally- funded Title 1 program that provides support and supplemental educational programs for migrant children to help reduce the educational disruptions and other problems that result from frequent moves. All Title 1C services are based on the needs of the migrant children it serves.
To help migrant children and youth meet high academic challenges by overcoming the obstacles created by frequent moves, educational disruption, cultural and language differences, and health-related problems.
To ensure that all migrant students reach challenging academic standards and graduate with a high school diploma or complete a High School Equivalency Diploma that prepares them for responsible citizenship, further learning, and productive employment.
The word "Migrant" simply means mobility. The Title 1C Migrant Education Program supports families that are mobile in agricultural work.
The Title 1C Migrant Education Program does not discriminate against race, gender, age, income, ethnicity or Legal Status.
