those initiatives. The template is provided to encourage districts
to design their own staff development with research-based levels.)
This document is also a template provided for district use. In
quick-to-read, newsletter style, it provides common background on staff
development. The format allows schools to personalize the the
articles and photos, or to maintain the regional PD information.
Those schools begin on page four to add the local district
PD mission, and current innovations. The remaining pages give
options for outlining PD plans that are research-based and show the
training/meetings planned for the school year.
