Peer Mentoring

College students enrolled in WNCC classes are recruited to serve as mentors for students attending the LifeLink-Nebraska program.  Following an application, reference check, and training, mentors can volunteer one or more hours per week.

Possible mentoring activities include:

  • Having lunch with students
  • Work with students on academic assignments in the LifeLink classroom
  • Accompany students to activities on campus and in the community
  • Serve as an additional tutoring resource for LifeLink students taking WNCC classes
